With support for the SAGE Programming Language (SPL), the DX1 is an ideal solution for complex control applications. Typical uses include the control, optimization, and coordination of large built-up air handling units; controlling combinations of heaters, chillers, and pumps; central plant control; and maximum demand and load shed algorithms. Built-in control functions include full PID control; run-time totalization, scheduling and alarming; output supervision, and input pulse counting. User defined SPL programs can greatly expand the base features of the DX1 by providing control blocks that respond to arbitrary PUP channels and attributes.
