The motor nameplate configuration for this pump is 690V Star / 400V Delta.
Electrical connection must always follow the motor nameplate and be carried out by a qualified electrician.
This pump is supplied with a DN40 hose tail connection.
The BIBO 2071 uses Flygt’s Spin-Out™ seal protection together with double mechanical shaft seals. The seals are Flygt-designed and manufactured from WCCR corrosion-resistant tungsten carbide, providing strong resistance to abrasive and contaminated site water.
The BIBO range is designed specifically for demanding dewatering rather than light domestic drainage. It is engineered for site conditions where ordinary dewatering pumps often suffer rapid wear.
A wide range of Flygt BIBO pumps have been designed for use in special conditions, such as: warm liquid, sea water and corrosive liquid.
Standard dewatering pumps are often intended for relatively clean water and short-term use. BIBO pumps are engineered for construction and industrial environments where the liquid may be abrasive or corrosive and the pump is expected to run for long periods with minimal attention.
The BIBO range is designed to tolerate dry-running conditions without damage being caused to the motor. However, best practice is still to avoid prolonged dry running wherever possible and to follow the manufacturer’s installation and control recommendations for the specific application.
