Technical note – voltage:
Voltage is shown as 415V in the listing for simplified search purposes.
The motor nameplate configuration for this pump is 690V Star / 400V Delta.
Electrical connection must always follow the motor nameplate and be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
This model is intended for pumping wastewater containing solids and fibrous material, as well as clean water and surface water. It is commonly used in municipal sewage, industrial effluent, and drainage duties where reliability and resistance to clogging are essential. The Adaptive N hydraulic is particularly suited to installations where conventional channel impellers have suffered from repeated blockage and where reliable unattended operation is required.
The Adaptive N design allows the impeller to move slightly along the shaft when bulky debris passes through the pump. This temporarily increases internal clearance, helping rags and fibrous material pass before the impeller returns to its normal position for efficient operation.
It aims to combine the hydraulic efficiency of a channel-style impeller with clog resistance closer to that of a vortex pump. In real wastewater duties this can reduce unplanned blockages while still maintaining stronger efficiency than a pure vortex design.
Adaptive N does not make a pump immune to all ragging or unsuitable applications. Correct pump selection, operating point and installation remain essential, and performance should always be verified against the manufacturer curve and actual site conditions.
