The Flygt NS 3102 is a high-efficiency submersible pump designed for pumping clean water, surface water and wastewater containing solids or long-fibered material. This unit is fitted with the Adaptive N hydraulic, developed to help reduce clogging and sustain performance in demanding wastewater and drainage duties.

How can this S version be installed?

The S configuration is intended for portable or semi-permanent wet well use. This pump is fitted with a standard DIN DN80 flanged outlet, allowing connection to a hose elbow, discharge pipework, or a guide-rail claw for fixed installations. Flygt claws or compatible third-party accessories can be used to suit an existing system. Accessories are supplied separately.

What is the Adaptive N-impeller?

The Adaptive N design allows the impeller to move slightly along the shaft when bulky debris passes through the pump. This temporarily increases internal clearance, helping rags and fibrous material pass before the impeller returns to its normal position for efficient operation.

Why would I choose an Adaptive N pump?

It is commonly chosen for wastewater duties where ragging and fibrous material can cause blockages. The adaptive movement helps difficult material pass while maintaining strong hydraulic efficiency compared with vortex-style designs.

What Adaptive N is not

Adaptive N does not make a pump immune to all ragging or unsuitable applications. Correct pump selection, operating point and installation remain essential, and performance should always be verified against the manufacturer curve and actual site conditions.
