This pump has an R 2 inch discharge port. Please check your existing pipework, hose connection or auto-coupling arrangement before ordering.
Yes. In the model code AP50B.50.08.A1V, the A immediately before “1V” indicates the automatic version with float switch. The float switch allows the pump to start and stop automatically as the liquid level rises and falls.
A vortex impeller creates a swirling flow through the pump housing, helping solids and dirty water pass through with reduced contact with the impeller itself. This makes it useful for dirty water and wastewater duties where clog resistance is more important than maximum hydraulic efficiency.
This pump has a 50 mm free passage, making it suitable for dirty water and wastewater applications with suspended solids within the pump’s design limits.
This pump is suitable for dirty water, wastewater and effluent-style duties where the solids and liquid type are within the pump’s limits. For foul sewage, toilet discharge or heavily contaminated wastewater, suitability should be checked carefully against the full application, installation type and local requirements before ordering.
Yes. The pump uses a double shaft seal arrangement with an intermediate oil chamber pre-filled with non-toxic special oil.
The pump is supplied with a ring stand, carrying handle, 5 m mains cable and float switch. Final installation depends on the site arrangement, pipework, electrical protection and whether it is being used free-standing or with an auto-coupling system.
Installation should be carried out by a competent person. The pump must be installed, wired and protected according to the manufacturer instructions and applicable electrical regulations.
