These figures provide simplified information for searching, filtering and initial comparison. They are not a complete specification. Exact details depend on the model and configuration.
Power rating: Usually the motor’s rated mechanical output (P2). Electrical input power (P1) is a different value. Check the product’s nameplate or manufacturer’s documentation to confirm which rating applies.
Outlet size: The nominal size class is expressed on a millimetre basis: for example, DN40 denotes a nominal 40 mm size. It does not specify the exact measured opening, connection type, thread, flange drilling or pressure rating.
Head and flow: Indicative figures describing the pump’s performance envelope, rather than a single operating duty point. Do not assume maximum flow is available at maximum head, or that every combination within the ranges is achievable. Minimum figures do not establish safe continuous operating limits. Consult the relevant performance curve.
Check the product description, nameplate and manufacturer’s documentation before selection or installation. Please contact us before purchasing if you need help confirming suitability or connection details.

UNILIFT AP – Grundfos submersible drainage / dirty water pump range
50 – maximum solids size / free passage class
B – AP Basic pump type
50 – nominal outlet port diameter, 50 mm / Rp 2"
08 – motor power output class
1 – single-phase motor
V – vortex impeller
This pump has an Rp 2" threaded horizontal outlet port. This can be connected to existing pipework, hose tails or fittings using suitable threaded adapters.
No. This version is supplied without a float switch and is intended for manual operation or use with an external level control / control panel.
A vortex impeller is often chosen where clog resistance is more important than maximum hydraulic efficiency. The vortex action helps dirty water, suspended solids and fibrous material pass through the pump with reduced risk of blockage.
Occasionally it is possible to swap different model or part codes within the AP range, for example float-switch and non-float versions, depending on the duty and installation. Please call us before ordering if you are replacing a different AP model.
Maximum installation depth is 7 m with 10 m cable.
No. Optional accessories such as auto-coupling sets, non-return valves or external controls are supplied separately unless specifically stated.
