Technical note – voltage:
This is a 230V, 50Hz, single-phase pump. The manufacturer data for this configuration lists a rated current of 8.9A and a start current of 28A.
A suitable pump control panel with the required start components and overload protection is required. This pump must not be connected directly to a standard mains supply like a normal plug-in appliance.
Electrical connection must always follow the motor nameplate and be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
This model is intended for pumping wastewater containing solids and fibrous material, as well as clean water and surface water. It is commonly used in drainage and wastewater applications where a compact submersible pump is required and where the liquid may contain suspended solids or fibrous material.
Flygt’s N hydraulic is designed for wastewater duties where rags, fibres and suspended solids can cause problems for conventional impellers. The design aims to help maintain stable performance by reducing build-up and allowing solids and fibrous material to pass more reliably.
Yes. Although this is a 230V single-phase pump, it still requires a suitable pump control panel with the correct start components, motor protection and level control arrangement. It should not be wired directly to a standard mains supply like a household appliance.
The S configuration is intended for portable or semi-permanent wet well use. This pump is supplied with a DN65 discharge connection, allowing connection to suitable hose, pipework or flange-mounted accessories depending on the installation.
Please send photos of your existing discharge connection, pipework and installation arrangement and we can advise on compatibility before purchase.
