This service kit combines a mechanical shaft seal with replacement gaskets and assembly hardware for a correctly matched pump repair.     What does this kit repair?

    It provides replacement sealing parts for servicing a compatible pump. The mechanical seal controls leakage around the rotating shaft; the gaskets seal stationary joints. Diagnose the leak before choosing the repair parts.

    What does CVBE/V mean?

    C identifies the spring-driven O-ring seal construction. The first V denotes ceramic and B denotes resin-impregnated carbon. The final E or V identifies EPDM or FKM secondary seals. The same letter can have a different meaning depending on its position.

    Does E/V mean two complete seals are included?

    No. The kit provides one mechanical seal with alternative elastomer components. Select the correct O-rings for the application.

    Should I choose EPDM or FKM?
